Vijay Deverakonda Is No More In A Mood To Work With Puri Jagannadh, Their Upcoming Film ‘Jana Gana Man’ Cancelled, Makers To Bear Losses Of Rs. 10 Crore

There have been some conflicts between South Indian Actor Vijay Deverakonda and renowned filmmaker Puri Jagannadh. Their Liger was anticipated to be a huge blockbuster hit, but it turned out to be opposite. Few days back Puri Jagannadh’s Jana Gana Man was reported to be shelved. But now, Vijay Deverakonda is in no mood to work with Puri after the failure of their film Liger, and he will now be selecting scripts very wisely.

Also, there have been some financial issues due to which the film is shelved now. The first schedule of the film Jana Gana Man has already been completed and some payment was done to the cast and crew. Pooja Hegde was signed as the female lead opposite Vijay. As the film has been cancelled all of a sudden after initial work had already been done, it has borne losses of Rs. 10 crore for the makers. This amount is reportedly half of Vijay Deverakonda’s 20 crores fees for Liger.

Meanwhile, Charmme Kaur, who is also one of the producers of Liger, on Sunday posted that she was taking a break from social media. She took to her Twitter account and said, “Chill guys! Just taking a break (from social media) @PuriConnects will bounce back. Bigger and Better… Until then, live and let live.”

Charmme’s decision to take a break from social media comes at a time when Liger, the film she produced along with Karan Johar, Puri Jagannadh, Apoorva Mehta and Hiroo Yash Johar, has performed poor at the box office.
