According to reports, the film will begin production in February of next year.
As per rumours, Vicky Kaushal will start filming for The Immortal Ashwatthama alongside Samantha after Sam Bahadur is over. After their national award-winning film URI: The Surgical Strike, Vicky and Aditya are working together again on this picture.

He was a response to Drona’s prayers for a son as brave as Lord Shiva, who was then born to the couple. Ashwatthama, a Chiranjivi, was born with a gem in his forehead, giving him control over all creatures lower than humans and shielding him from thirst, hunger, and exhaustion.
