Vicky Kaushal And Samantha To Star In The Much Awaited ‘The Immortal Ashwatthama’; Production To Start In February Next Year


Vicky Kaushal is having a great year and has some incredible projects in the works. The star is currently in the Sam Bahadur film by Meghna Gulzar. Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh are also featured in the film. In The Immortal Ashwatthama, the Uri star will also appear on screen alongside Samantha from Oo Anatava. According to reports, the film will begin production in February of next year.

As per rumours, Vicky Kaushal will start filming for The Immortal Ashwatthama alongside Samantha after Sam Bahadur is over. After their national award-winning film URI: The Surgical Strike, Vicky and Aditya are working together again on this picture.

There were rumors that this whole project has been shelved due to the success of Brahmastra, Brahmastra has impacted the whole industry by its success but the fans and Cinephiles are very happy to hear the news that the project is back in the pipeline.

Vicky Kaushal was intensely preparing for the movie and had to put his physical change on hold. In preparation for his role as Ashwatthama, the son of Dronacharya, the actor was taking lessons in horseback riding and different martial arts.

Ashwatthama, the son of Guru Dronacharya and Kripi, fought alongside the Kauravas in the Kurukshetra War of Mahabharata against the Pandavas. He was a response to Drona’s prayers for a son as brave as Lord Shiva, who was then born to the couple. Ashwatthama, a Chiranjivi, was born with a gem in his forehead, giving him control over all creatures lower than humans and shielding him from thirst, hunger, and exhaustion.
