The second Bollywood film Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and starring Ranbir Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol, was announced in January of last year. Later on, it was made known that Parineeti Chopra had left the movie.
According to reports, the Hasee Toh Phasee actress chose Imtiaz Ali’s Chamkila as her next project instead of the movie. Rashmika Mandanna was then hired by the Animal producers to take Parineeti’s role.
In an interview to India Today, Parineeti Chopra spoke candidly on how everyone has the right to choose whatever they want. Regarding her decision to reject the Ranbir Kapoor and Sandeep Reddy Vanga film Animal, she stated, “These things happen, it is a part and parcel of life. We must make such choices every day. You make the choice that is right for you.”
She added further when she was asked about success, “1000 %. Today when I sit down with a producer and director, it is very different from what it used to be in my lowest time. Honestly, it is all thanks to Dibakar and Ribbu who gave me roles when people did not think I could. I hold on to that. Later is the bigger dream of collections and success.”
Parineeti’s upcoming film, Uunchai, is directed by Sooraj Barjatya. Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, and Boman Irani fulfil their friend Danny Denzongpa’s final dream to climb Mount Everest in the heartbreaking drama, and Chopra portrays their instructor in the movie slated to hit theatres on November 11.
