Puri Jagannadh directorial Liger released on August 25 didn’t perform well at box office and sent disappointments even though it had high level promotions. It stars Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Pandey in the action and drama film of 2 hour 20 minutes.
Now, some reports suggest that Director Jagannadh is pondering vacating his home located in Mumbai and moving back to Hyderabad after Liger failed to have footfalls in theatres. He is believed to be residing
in a posh sea-facing apartment in the city. The rent of the house is reportedly Rs 10 lakh per month excluding maintenance costs, situated in the Jubilee Hills area.
His next project is called JGM (Jana Gana Mana). Reports claim this has been shelved because of Liger’s failure recently. Puri and Deverakonda had announced it in collaboration. “I am grateful for all the love. I feel happy to be here. I feel happy to be telling stories in Hindi and all the major languages. It is an honour when I see this camouflage and wear these boots. I feel proud to do this film. It will be fun to do this movie,” Deverakonda said during the launch.
The Liger actor Vijay Deverakonda seems uninfluenced broadly as his upcoming film Kushi with Samantha Ruth Prabhu has been accomplished. Earlier, reports suggested that he returned some of his fees to Liger’s producers.
