Cuttputlli starring Akshay Kumar, Rakul Preet Singh, Sargun Mehta, Chandrachur Singh, Hrishitaa Bhatt released earlier today. Helmed by Ranjit Tiwari, the movie was titled “Mission Cinderella” with Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh as producers.
Rumours spread like wildfire within the industry since last night circle that Rakul Preet has shown displeasure over her portrayal that has been penned down badly as of the inconsequential roles despite being so close with makers (for unaware, apparently she is dating Jackky Bhagnani).
The movie was reportedly not shown to actors involved in it before the release. It is a psychological thriller that streams on OTT application Disney plus hotstar. It is believed to be the Hindi remake of ‘Ratsasan’, a 2018 Tamil film. The Khiladi actor and Rakul Preet Singh shared the video song “Rabba” on their social media accounts a few days ago.
The screenplay and dialogues are done by Aseem Arroa, while Rajeev Ravi has done cinematography. The film showcases suspense and climax at the end. Bhatt, who plays Kumar’s sister in the film and Sargun Mehta, who acts as a Cop have outshined the Preet’s role.
Preet also performed in Runway 34, a drama and action film, where she played her role opposite to actor Ajay Devgn irrespective of her not playing love interest and got praises from audience. She will next be seen in Thank God, a movie slated to be released on October 24, 2022 coinciding Diwali (and clashing with another Akshay Kumar starrer Ram Setu) starring Sidharth Malhotra and Ajay Devgn, Noora Fatehi.
As usual expect makers/actors to come out all guns blazing stating there is NO truth to this story and it’s just a rumour !!
