Directed and produced by Sooraj Barjatya, “Uunchai” stars Amitabh Bachchan, Parineeti Chopra, Boman Irani, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Nafisa Ali. It’s distributed by Rajshri productions and is a part of production. It’s set to release in theatres on November 11, 2023.
It is a tale of three friends who join a trek to the Everest Base Camp, where a simple trek becomes a personal, emotional and spiritual journey as they fight their physical limitations and realise true freedom. The initial poster was released just a day before Big B’s birthday.

Boman is seen looking slightly right with two scenes, namely one in cold with mountains as backdrop, another is under sunshine.

Anupam Kher’s character poster from the film was released yesterday. It showcases two sides of Kher. One is around the environment of his bookshop, whereas in another, he is present in a snow capped mountain with numerous layers of warm clothing and eyes showcasing longing and happiness.
