Directed and produced by Sooraj Barjatya, “Uunchai” stars Amitabh Bachchan, Parineeti Chopra, Boman Irani, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Sarika, Nafisa Ali. It’s distributed by Rajshri productions and is a part of production. It’s set to release in theatres on November 11, 2023.
It is a tale of three friends who join a trek to the Everest Base Camp, where a simple trek becomes a personal, emotional and spiritual journey as they fight their physical limitations and realise true freedom. The initial poster was released just a day before Big B’s birthday.
Now, Neena Gupta’s poster has been released by her co-actor Boman Irani. She plays Shabina Siddiqui in it. Boman said, “Meet the beautiful Neena Gupta as Shabina Siddiqui! In theatres.” She is smiling in the two scenes shown in the adorable poster.

Sarika will be seen as Mala Trivedi. Her poster too has been released. She is seen with a backpack and with a shawl who seems to be going ahead on her path. The film’s trailer is set to be released online and will be shown at the time of Akshay starrer Ram Setu screening in theatres. Many have wished the team the best for this project.

Earlier, Anupam Kher and Boman’s character posters were released. It showcases two sides of Kher. One is around the environment of his bookshop; another, he is present in a snow capped mountain with numerous layers of warm clothing, while Boman is shown in the cold with mountains as backdrop and one under sunshine.
