In A First, Shah Rukh Khan’s Son Aryan Khan As Writer For Upcoming Web Series Set To Go On Floors Later This Year

Aryan Khan remains in the limelight often either seen with his brother or father or at any event. He performed in “Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham” in 2001 and made his voice acting debut in the Hindi-dubbed version of The Lion King released in 2019, where he voiced the titular character, also the Simba.

He pursued a degree in filmmaking and writing from the University of Southern California in 2019. Now, according to ETimes, he will make his debut as a writer for an upcoming web series. The casting has started, while the pre-production will take place by the end of 2022.

Writer Bilal Siddiqui, who also co-wrote the Netflix show “Bard Of Blood” will reportedly work with Aryan on this project. There were reports that he had announced a test for it and recent film “Jersey’s” Prit Kamani could be part of it.

Aryan’s interest is in direction and writing as per his father. “He’s been writing, directing, and learning stuff for four years. It’s one of the highest levels of studies at the University of Southern California to become a filmmaker,” SRK had said about Aryan in one of his past interviews. It will be interesting to see how he released it on OTT and further details.
