Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor starrer Lal Singh Chaddha released on August 11, 2022. Helmed by Advait Chandan, the film is written by Atul Kulkarni with an adaptation from a 1994 made Hollywood film named Forrest Gump into the context based in India.
Earlier, Aamir had said that it would take the film 6 months to release on OTT but it landed on Netflix recently. It didn’t perform at the box office. However, it is performing well on Netflix.
In a latest behind-the-scenes video, Kiran reminds the team that it’s a Hindi film at a time when Aamir is seen rehearsing the Punjabi lines. “Guys can you reduce the Punjabi also. It is not a Punjabi film, boss. I always knew that it was too much,”Aamir’s Ex-wife Kiran Rao, who is also the film’s producer, was heard saying.
According to Aamir, the team attempted to maintain a balance so that it could be comprehended by audiences. It was also learnt that Aamir took 8 months to train the Punjabi language and also received criticism over it.
Its soundtrack was praised by viewers, with lovely songs like Phir Na Aisi Raat Aayegi, Kahani, Tur Kalleyan. However, it faced a boycott trend and resulted in the failure at Box-Office.
