Doubtful Kangana Ranaut On Brahmastra’s Success Says ‘Movie Mafia Decides If Film Is Hit Or Flop’

Kangana Ranaut, who often remains in controversy over her remarks, came with an allegation stating director Ayan Mukerji changed the title of Brahmastra Part I from Jalaluddin Rumi to Shiva after seeing the immense success of Baahubali, in which Prabhas plays Shivudu’ character.

As per reports, she is apparently not convinced with the Brahmastra’s box-office figures and wants to interview Karan Johar to challenge him over the film being hit as she is skeptical about figures.

The actress has now put a screenshot of a AndhraBoxOffice.com tweet, stating that the film is a huge failure with a total worldwide box office collection of Rs 246 crore as it was made with a big budget of Rs 650 Crore.

“The film has been declared the biggest hit at mere ₹144 crore (cost 650 cr) this is only to put in perspective how movie mafia works. It’s they who decide which film will be declared a hit and which will be called a flop regardless of its collections or recoveries. They choose who to hype, who to boycott. Here they stand exposed,” said Kangana in her Instagram story, whose Twitter account has been deactivated for a long period.

Meanwhile, she is working on her upcoming film Emergency, based on former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The actress plays the titular role of the late politician. She is not only acting but also directing and producing it too.
