SS Rajamouli, who is quite popular for action and fantasy films, works primarily in Telugu Cinema. His films include RRR, Bahubali: The Beginning, Rowdy Rathore, Chatrapathi, Student No 1 and others. At Beyond Fest held in the US, he stated about his upcoming “globetrotting action adventure” with actor Mahesh Babu.
Mahesh has appeared in Maharshi, Major, Spyder, Acharya, Baadshah, Jalsa and others. Interestingly, he first acted in the 1979 film Needa when he was four years old. His hit movie is reportedly Okkadu, which broke all the records at the box office and received a total of Rs 21. 7 crores globally.
Rajamouli received a huge honour at an American Film Festival where his many movies were showcased. He showed up to the media’s questions during the fest where the filmmaker revealed about next project with Mahesh after the actor completes the current film’s shooting. It is set to arrive in theatres after Trivikram Srinivas directed SSMB28.
“Mahesh Babu will join forces with SS Rajamouli and we know that the two of them have delivered several blockbusters till date. After scoring a colossal hit with RRR, the director is working on script work of Mahesh Babu’s movie,” Bollywood Hungama quoted the source as saying.
The source added, “In fact, during the festival, Rajamouli disclosed that his film with Mahesh Babu is going to be a globetrotting action adventure. As the genre suggests, the story is set in different locations across the world. Mahesh Babu did action roles in many of his films but filmmaker Rajamouli, who is known for his commercial cinema, wants to present the actor in a one-of-a-kind role.”
