Details Of Cuts By Censor In Thank God Starring Ajay Devgn and Sidharth Malhotra


Indra Kumar directed Thank God stars Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh. It is set to be released on October 25 coinciding with Diwali. Ajay Devgn plays the deity Chitragupt, while Malhotra as comman man who hangs between life and death.

On September 16, T-Series debuted the first song from the movie titled as “Manike”. It is a remix of the viral sensation “Manike Mage Hithe” track by popular Sri Lankan singers Yohani and Satheeshan Rathnayaka. Mellow D. Music has written its rap verse, while Tanishk Bagchi and Chamath Sangeeth composed it.

Now, we bring you an exclusive newsbreak from the film and the latest bollywood news that Central Board Of Film Certification (CBFC) has censored U/A certificate with category as “parental guidance”.

It has made insertions and modifications with three important cuts. The CBFC has “replaced the close visuals of feeding to statue of Hanumanji with the back visual of offering sweet to Lord Hanumanji at TCR 0.20.40.09”. It “blurred the liquor brand name shown on the menu card at TCR 01.17.59.08”.

“The duration of the disclaimer of fiction modified and increased the duration of disclaimer to readable time (Length is adjusted, no change in final duration),” the description from CBFC read. The running time of the movie is 121.34 MM.SS.
