Director SS Rajamouli is still riding high on the success of his film RRR, which was released earlier this year, in March. The director has begun the work on his next project already, though. He will be collaborating for the first time with Superstar Mahesh Babu in his next film, and the film will be made on a grand scale, in a way that no other Indian movie has ever been made.
Rajamouli even said that it’s going to be a massive action adventure, and the director has already met with various top special effects artists all over the world for the film. While most of the crew for the film is known, as the director repeatedly collaborates with them, there’s been a lot of discussion over who could be the female lead of the film.
Sources are now saying that Rajamouli is in talks with Deepika Padukone for the part of the leading lady, as she is his first choice. This hints at the fact that other Bollywood actresses could be approached if Deepika denies the part or date issue arises. It will be interesting to see who will finally land the role.
Rajamouli directed ‘RRR’ and also surprised the foreign audience. Therefore, there are rumors that the film with Mahesh will be made simultaneously in Telugu and English. Rajamouli and Mahesh had announced 10 years ago that they would work together. This film is being made at the Pan India level and it is produced by KL Narayana. With the huge success of ‘RRR’, many countries are inviting Rajamouli to talk about movies. Recently, he participated in the ‘Toronto International Film Festival’.
