Chaiyya Chaiyya remake was shot for Shahrukh Khan starring film Zero in 2018. Actress Alia Bhatt danced opposite Shah Rukh in the song. The song was shot completely but it neither appeared in the film nor anywhere else.
The song was to be placed in the end credits of the film where Bauaa was showed in space dancing but unfortunately it never got released. There were also some news around the sets where the song was shot that the set caught fire.
King Khan had earlier decided to put a revamped version of his famous 90s number, Chaiyya Chaiyya in his 2018 film Zero. The song is from his film Dil Se which released in 1998 and featured SRK opposite Malaika Arora. Ever since then, this one has been everyone’s classic favourite dance number. Just like the original one, the revamped version also had singer- musician A.R. Rahman composed it.
Zero was directed by Aanand L Rai, and it also stars Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif in important roles other than Shahrukh Khan.
