This Diwali will see clash of two star studded films clashing at Bollywood box office. Akshay Kumar starrer Ram Setu boasts of unique combination of adventure and mythology. While Ajay Devgn and Sidharth Malhotra starrer Thank God will cater to masses at large with over the top Indra Kumar brand of comedy.
Akshay Kumar starrer will release in 2500 plus screens as it’s marginally longer than competition in terms of length. Film will release on 25th October and advance started yesterday.
Film might appeal to classes in big way as Lord Ram and Diwali can create magic at box office. Film seems like an honest effort to open a rather untouched part of history and proud culture of India.
As per early trends, it seems film will open around 16-18 cr nett day one as high end multiplexes and ticket rates will ensure lead in clash. Mass centres and same day walk ins will decide amount of lead where Thank God might have an edge.
