This Diwali will see clash of two star studded films clashing at Bollywood box office. Akshay Kumar starrer Ram Setu boasts of unique combination of adventure and mythology. While Ajay Devgn and Sidharth Malhotra starrer Thank God will cater to masses at large with over the top Indra Kumar brand of comedy.
Thank God will release in 2800 plus screens as it’s shorter with 2 hour runtime than competition in terms of length. Film will release on 25th October and advance started yesterday.
Film will appeal to masses in big way as festivalmeans neat clean comedy entertainer. Film has couple of hit songs and that will add to numbers on day one.
As per early trends, it seems film will open around 12-14 cr nett day one as high end multiplexes and ticket rates will ensure lead in clash for Ram Setu. Mass centres and same day walk ins will decide amount day one where Thank God will have an edge.
