Out of 9-10 Bollywood releases, Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Doctor G was only Hindi film to open some sort of occupancy. His last couple do releases post lockdown Anek and Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui ranked at box office. Here are latest box office collections of today’s release.
Ayusmhann Khurrana starrer Doctor G was biggest Hindi release out of all this week and opened to mixed reviews. Film had low pre release buzz and opened to 10% opening and it was similar to Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui.
Film did grew especially in urban centres and evening shows were better than all other new releases on Friday. Film collected 3.87 cr nett on Friday which was decent total. Film grew on Sunday and collected 5.22 cr nett on Saturday. Film collected 5.94 cr nett on Sunday with slim growth.
Film has weekend total of 15.03 cr nett. This was decent trend but obviously expected. Film needed to hold miraculously well but that had not happened post pandemic for films of this genre.
Film dropped today again in expected lines around 62% from Friday. Film collected 1.40 cr nett which was poor hold. Film further dropped and collected poor 1.10 cr nett on Tuesday. Film remained steady on lower level on weekdays.
Film has week 1 total of 20.58 cr nett and it should cross 24 cr nett lifetime as two big releases next week will curtail its run.
