Om Raut directed Adipurush stars Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan, Kriti Sanon, Sunny Singh and has been reportedly made with a budget of 500 cr. The film is based on the mythological epic Ramayana, showcasing the triumph of good over evil.
It is considered to be the the mega Indian film produced by Bhushan Kumar under his banner, T Series and includes heavy VFX. After the teaser was out, netizens trolled the film for wrong displacement of characters and bad visuals. NY VFXWaala was criticised for its work on VFX.
“Leading VFX studio, NY VFXWaala has clarified that they have not worked/are not working on the CG/special effects of Adipurush. An official note on their behalf clarified, ‘we are putting this on record because we have been asked by a few media people,” the company said in an official statement.
“Hiring Vfx artist from team ‘Oh My Friend Ganesha (sic),” a social media user wrote. Another said, “700 cr Temple Run (laughing emojis).” Some said Prabhas didn’t work on his fitness and instead used computer generated graphics.
