Ajay Devgn Visits Ajmer Dargah To Pay Respect Post Receiving National Award! Pics Inside


The 68th National Film Awards ceremony was scheduled to take place in 2020 but due to COVID-19 pandemic it has been delayed a year. The event honours the best Indian cinema had over a particular time period.

The Press Information Bureau (PIB) broadcast live streaming of the programme held at Vigyan Bhawan on Friday. It had announced winners in July. Among them was Ajay Devgn who won Best Actor Award and shared it with Soorarai Pottru’s Suriya.

“Not counting the wins or the blessings, just feeling grateful for all of it. Most importantly, your love. I share this win with all of you. Honoured to receive my awards from the President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu,” Ajay tweeted.

The Tanhaji actor arrived at a Dargah in Ajmer with Film distributor Raj Bansal to pay tributes after receiving the award. He is seen surrounded by police officials and other people.

In the supporting and lead actor categories, a cash prize of Rs 50,000 each was given to the winners. An amount of Rs 250,000 was awarded to the producers and director of the Best Feature Film winner.

Meanwhile, Ajay will next be seen in Drishyam 2, and he recently announced his starrer Maidaan to be released on February 17, 2023. He is quite active on social media and shares the glimpses of his upcoming movies.
