Bholaa is an upcoming film directed by Dharmendra Sharma, which is an official remake of Tamil blockbuster Kaithi. It stars Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Sanjay Mishra and is produced by Tseries films, Ajay Devgn Ffilms, Reliance Entertainment and Dream Warrior Pictures.
The film is about a former convict on the path to meet his daughter after coming out of prison. However, he gets hindered due to a drug raid.
Devgn had stated, “Excited to share with all of you Bholaa, the official remake of the Tamil super hit Kaithi that has Tabu and me in the lead, will release worldwide on March 30, 2023. The action-drama is directed by Dharmendra Sharma (sic).
According to reports, Bholaa’s shooting will be completed and the budget ranges from Rs 80 cr to 100 cr. The last leg of the schedule is set to be held in Mumbai. The film has Devgn’s nephew Danish Gandhi as Assistant Director. It will also have VFX and Deepak Dobriyal as Villain.
Devgn had shared a Twitter post with caption as “Bholaa Sun Ready For Surya Namaskar (sic).” He is seen in a blue hoodie in a sun set mode and the image is blurred. Other than this, he has helmed movies like U, Me and Us, Shivaay, Runway 34.
