Bholaa is an upcoming film directed by Dharmendra Sharma, which is an official remake of Tamil blockbuster Kaithi. It stars Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Sanjay Mishra and is produced by Tseries films, Ajay Devgn Ffilms, Reliance Entertainment and Dream Warrior Pictures.
The film is about a former convict on the path to meet his daughter after coming out of prison. However, he gets hindered due to a drug raid. According to reports, its shooting will be completed and the budget ranges from Rs 80 cr to 100 cr.
Taking to Instagram on Monday, Ajay stated, “Khoon, paseena, paani…sab baha diya on the #SetsOfBholaa.” He asks a crew member to empty a bottle on someone’s head, with unreal blood on someone’s white shirt, making everyone laugh wholeheartedly, including Tabu, co-star.
One of the Instagram users commented, “I died laughing.” Another stated, “fully masti Ajay sir.” Comment section is full of laughing and heart emojis. The action-drama film is a remake of the Tamil blockbuster Kaithi which originally showcased Karthi. It will hit the theatres on March 30, 2023.
Devgn had stated, “Excited to share with all of you Bholaa, the official remake of the Tamil super hit Kaithi that has Tabu and me in the lead, will release worldwide on March 30, 2023. The action-drama is directed by Dharmendra Sharma (sic).”
