Aamir Khan Starrer Laal Singh Chaddha Is Domestic Disaster & Above Average In Overseas


Aamir Khan Starrer Laal Singh Chaddha was in controversy and it faced lot of hurdles including a much celebrated clash with Akshay Kumar Starrer Raksha Bandhan.

The film started below par and collected 12 cr nett plus on day one and again collected poor 30 cr nett over 3 day weekend followed by equally poor 37 cr nett despite 4-5 holidays in weekend.

It managed poor 50 cr nett in extended 1st week and now in second weekend too it managed poor 4.70 cr nett. Film added 1.55 cr nett on weekdays in 2nd week.

LSC has total of 57 cr nett plus after two weeks (15 days) and now it’s staring at embarrassing figure of under 60 cr nett lifetime finish. It’s probably biggest disaster of Aamir Khan in last two decades.

With the release of Liger on Augsut 25, Laal Singh Chaddha may be removed from many cinema halls.

The film is a success overseas and it might add some big numbers on China in September release. Film has already crossed 7.5 million dollar and has become highest grosser Hindi film in overseas in 2022.

Directed by Advait Chandan, Laal Singh Chaddha is the official remake of the Hollywood film, Forrest Gump, which featured Tom Hanks. The Hindi adaptation features Kareena Kapoor Khan, Naga Chaitanya and Mona Singh in crucial roles. Even before its release, Laal Singh Chaddha made headlines due to multiple controversies. Netizens called for a boycott of the film over statements made by Aamir and Kareena in the past. The two stars requested fans not to boycott Laal Singh Chaddha and asked them to watch the film in theatres.
