Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor starrer Lal Singh Chaddha released on August 11, 2022. Helmed by Advait Chandan, the film is written by Atul Kulkarni with an adaptation from a 1994 made Hollywood film named Forrest Gump into the context based in India.
It was made on an estimated budget worth Rs 180 cr. The film comprises a debutant Telugu actor Naga Chaitanya, son of superstar Nagarjuna, who has played an army officer named Balaraju Bodi. It has been performing well on Netflix for two weeks consecutively.
Laal Singh Chaddha has been ranked at two among the platform’s top non-English movies globally between October 10 and October 16, 2022, with 64,90, 000 (over 6.6 million) hours viewed. Apparently, there has been a massive success online.
The film landed on OTT platform Netflix at midnight two weeks ago, making people excited to watch. “Keep your golgappas ready because Laal Singh Chaddha is NOW STREAMING,” Netflix had stated. Earlier, Aamir had said that it would take the film 6 months to release on OTT. Its soundtrack was praised by viewers, with lovely songs like Phir Na Aisi Raat Aayegi, Kahani, Tur Kalleyan.
