Ranbir Kapoor, who is well known for Rockstar, Barfi, Rocket Singh, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Brahmastra, Wake Up Sid, Jagga Jasoos and others, turns 40 today. He was featured in Forbes India’s Celebrity 100 list in 2012 and is the recipient of numerous awards, consisting of six Filmfare Awards.

Directed by Shimit Amin, Rocket Singh stars Ranbir Kapoor as Harpreet Singh Bedi, a commerce graduate, who becomes a salesman. After being ridiculed by his colleagues and his employer, he makes a plan to run a parallel company without their knowledge. It was released on December 11, 2009 and has nominations for Filmfare Award for best dialogue and best story.
