A Borrowed Format With Tedious Music

Kamal Pandey directed Jahaan Chaar Yaar stars Pooja Chopra, Meher Vij, Swara Bhasker, Manish Chaudhari, Girish Kulkarni, Akash Dhar.

Story

It’s a journey of four female married friends who go to Goa for change from their usual and daily routine lives, where they discover to be on an extraordinary adventure. Swara Bhaskar as Shivangi, Meher Vij plays Mansi, Shikha Talsania’s Neha and Pooja Chopra as Sakina are the ladies in the film who are unhappy in their lives.

One of them satisfies their in-laws, Swara slips into her husband, Shikha Talsania hasn’t had sex with her husband for two years, third is tired of her husband terrifying to do a triple-talaaq on her. When they reunite in Goa, they call an Australian stranger (an Indian actor with peroxided hair doing a sentimental parody of Saif Ali Khan in Go Goa Gone) into their hotel room for a fun night.

Final Thoughts

The film has a format that resembles a four more shots series. It’s just that it’s placed in a middle class background. It leaves the audience with tedious music comprising no unique steps and an uninspiring plot.
